Christos Kyriakos 

Lefteris was born in Athens in 1980. He holds the Diploma in Production and Management Engineering from the Technical University of Crete (2004).

He started the sailing activity in 1985. From 1995 until today he has been involved in the open sea and he has participated in various national competitions in Greece. He holds the Skipper’s license issued by Chania Nautical Club (2000), the Yacht Master Certificate issued by Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (2012) as well as the motorboat permit issued by the Hellenic Coastguard (1999). In 2019, he became Offshore Sailing Instructor certified by the Hellenic Ministry of Sports – General Secretariat of Sports (completing the Hellenic Sailing Federation courses) .



Sailing Regatta Races Experience

The last twelve years, he participates at the International Aegean Sailing Rally, which is a traditional yearly event organized by the HORC (Hellenic Offshore Racing Club), receiving sailing medals and trophies. HORC is the oldest and most prestigious sailing regatta in Greece. Since 1964, it gathers contestants from around the world as well as all of Greece’s top sailing teams. Every year the top boats show up on the starting line for a race.

He is also member of the Chania Nautical Club .
